Albert Park

Not all of the park is off lead. The side that borders Canterbury road has the largest dog off leash area as well as a small section along Albert Road. As a courtesy to other park users and to help protect the park’s wildlife, dog owners should familiarise themselves with the following information. Where can I take my dog? Albert Park is a multi‐zone park. Dogs are permitted in most of the park, but must be kept on a leash in certain areas, and kept out of dog exclusion areas (including the lake and playgrounds). You can find these locations on the map included in this park gallery. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times on the paths surrounding the lake, within picnic areas and within dog on‐lead zones.
